  • Long time since last post

Soooooo many things have been going on!!!

I finally found work. Which sucks! But it pays above minimum wage, and hopefully will have benefits soon.

My Kim has moved in with me.

     Mom & Dad 50th Anniversary (6)

Which makes me happy, and will soon allow us to move forward with our relationship. We painted the bedroom for Jordan, and moved her into a nice queen size bed, which dwarfs her in pillows and blankets. She will continue to go to school in Overland park until next year, and then we will transfer her to the Olathe schools.

  • Busy weekend

Lizzie came to town on Thursday, and it has been a real joy to see her.

Friday night was Jordan's belt test in karate. She is going to the same school as Beth and Lizzy went to, although it is at a different location. She does very well, and enjoys it alot.Closed Cat stance

Square Horse stance She is very serious, okay, as serious as a 5 year old can be, and she tries very hard.

On Saturday, we all went to Melvern for the 100th Sunflower Days parade and Fair. It was fun. Josh, Bath, and Noah came down also.

  • Noah and the tape measure

Here is a video of Noah when he was here on the 16th, just being a cute little kid, who found Grandpa's tape measure on the TV stand.

He's is such a crack up.

Lizzie is coming to town on the 25th, and I can't wait to see her. She will be here for about a month. It will be nice, and she will get to see Noah.

Anyways, the job hunt continues, and the world keeps spinning.

  • Rejoice! Rejoice!

Hallelujah! I finally went to work for the first time in 49 weeks today! I am with a staffing agency, however, it is a temp to perm work, so in 90 days I should be a full fledged member of Talley Communications. They are a distributor of cable and communication products. They have 5 other distribution centers spread out across the States. A small family owned company, based out of California, that seems to have found thier niche in the market, and hopefully, will be around for a few years, so that I can stay working.

Anyways, today was the first day, and I learned how to run thier UPS/Fed-Ex shipping computer. I'll probably not remember anything I learned today, but I'm sure that it will be easy enough in a few days.

With that aside, Lizzy is here for her spring break, and although, with my work, I won't get to see her a whole lot, i have really enjoyed seeing her and her smile. Here she is feeding Noah a bottle. Noah seems quite enamored with her, and she does very well with him.

Noah is now scootching across the floor, and I imagine in a few weeks, he will be crawling like nobodies business! Here's a few pics of his hat collection.

Kim and Jordan are doing well, and Kim is hoping to find work soon in her chosen field. I think she is tired of school, but she still gets her homework done and does a fine job of raising her daughter.

    Love to all.
